SMITHFIELD – Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation (DSDC) has announced an open call for performance groups to participate in the Kick-Off to Christmas Tree Lighting Festival on November 29th, from 12 PM to 7 PM. This festive event will take place in front of the Christmas Tree on the Library Stage, marking the official start of the holiday season in our vibrant downtown.
Local choirs, bands, dancers, and other performance groups are invited to showcase their talents and help spread holiday cheer. This year’s festival promises a delightful lineup of activities, including:
- Shop Small, Shop Local Holiday Market
- Little Elves Workshop & Performances
- Festival of Trees
- Smithfield Town Tree Lighting
- A Visit from Santa
- Carriage Rides
- Fun holiday events in our downtown stores
This is a wonderful opportunity for performers to gain exposure and engage with the community while contributing to the festive atmosphere of the day.
