Rush hour traffic was detoured around North O’Neil Street at Oakdale Avenue in Clayton this morning (Wednesday) after a dump truck driver inadvertently left his bed up and ran under a power line.
The driver was not hurt however he had to wait in the cab of his truck until Town of Clayton electric crews could respond and remove the live power line from across the truck.
The Clayton Fire Department and Clayton Police Department also responded.
