A 22 year-old woman was arrested for driving while impaired after deputies responded to a disabled vehicle in the roadway.
Officers said they located the disabled vehicle on Old Drugstore Road at Fieldtrail Circle in the Cleveland community around 9:45pm Tuesday. Approximately 5 grams of marijuana was allegedly found in the car.
Authorities identified the driver as Brittany Marie Howard of Merchant Drive, Angier. Howard registered 0.15 on the Breathalyzer. She was charged with DWI and driving on a revoked license. Bail was set at $1,000.
The driver allegedly claimed her car became disabled after she was forced off the roadway by another vehicle.
