An East Clayton Elementary teacher has been selected as the Clayton Chamber of Commerce Super Star Teacher of the Month.
Tracy Prince, formerly Tracy Caulder, was also recently married.
The Commerce selected Prince for demonstrating excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivating her students.
Her classroom is built on the concepts rigor, relevance, and relationships. Her students are excited and engaged in the learning process. She leads projects that are creative and inspiring such as digital learning games and computer coding.
Prince also has numerous roles at East Clayton, she works with staff on the integration of digital learning in the classroom and is part of the Transforming Teaching for Engagement Initiative.
