SMITHFIELD – Tobi Kierra Duff, 26, of Smithfield was arrested September 13 by Smithfield Police and charged with 10 felony counts of embezzlement.
Duff is accused by police of embezzling approximately $2,100 from Pizza Hut, at 725 N Brightleaf Boulevard, during a one week period, earlier this month.
Duff allegedly took money from a cash register on several occasions. $600 of the stolen money was recovered, police said.
She was given a $73,000 secured bond on the criminal charges.
I can’t believe a Pizza Hut turned enough profit to steal.
