An employee at a Johnston County used car lot was released from the hospital on Saturday one day after he was shot during an attempted armed robbery.
Isai Ntrenganya, 30, of Knightdale was working at E-Zee Auto at 12450 Cleveland Road, Garner when two suspects wearing masks entered the business at 3:41pm Friday and shot him during a robbery attempt.
Ntrenganya fled to the parking lot of a nearby dentist office where he summoned help. He was transported by EMS to Wake Medical Center where he underwent treatment for a gunshot wound.
Captain Jeff Caldwell with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said they are still searching for three suspects, including two black males and one black female last seen fleeing the area in a cream color Ford passenger car with a 30 day license plate.
