A former tenant is accused of breaking into property owned by her landlord and stealing over $6,500 in items.
Laura Leigh Rilley, 54, of Stephenson Road, Benson was arrested Monday on three felony charges. Rilley is charged with a Feb. 10th break-in on Stephenson Road. At the time of the theft, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said Rilley was in the process of being evicted.
She was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, and possession of stolen goods. Bail was set at $10,000.
