Authorities are investigating damage to a farm crop in Johnston County.
A farmer discovered his soybean field on Castleberry Road near Archer Lodge had been damaged between Saturday and Monday. Someone reportedly drove a vehicle more than 100 feet into the soybean field then drove back out causing an estimated $1,000 in damage to both the field and crop.
The incident is being investigated by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
