Federal And Local Authorities Execute Two Search Warrants
JOHNSTON COUNTY – A Johnston County man was arrested and held on a $1.2 million bond after federal ATF agents and the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office narcotics division executed two search warrants.
Agents said they executed the search warrants last month on Will Drive, Middlesex (a Johnston County address) and S. Brevard Street in the Selma city limits.
A total of 527 grams of cocaine, 13.5 pounds of marijuana, guns, and drug paraphernalia were reported seized. The drugs had an estimated street value of nearly $66,000.

Thomas Henry Ray Jr., 48, of S. Brevard Street, Selma was charged May 26 with three counts of trafficking in cocaine, three counts of trafficking in marijuana, two counts of possession with intent to sell or deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy to traffic cocaine, an possession of a firearm by a felon.
The arrest followed an undercover investigation. Information about the search warrants and investigation was just recently released.

It feels like a losing battel, but I hope the Police keep fighting this war against this trash. We do not need it here or anywhere. At least we got that batch of drugs off the street before it had a chance to get to the kids as well as another felon with a gun. Thanks to all the LEO’s involved to keep JOCO a little safer.
