DUNN – The State Highway Patrol is investigating a tractor trailer collision on Interstate 95 in Harnett County. The single vehicle accident was reported around 8:00am today (Tuesday) in the southbound lanes, near the 70 mile marker, south of Dunn.
Initial reports indicate the semi may have collided with a jersey barrier, causing the truck to overturn off the roadway. The overturn semi then burst into flames.
The truck driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
