Fire Damages Barn In Wilson’s Mills

WILSON’S MILLS – Moments after a man parked his riding lawn mower in his backyard barn on Hazel Street in Wilson’s Mills he saw smoke rising from the building.

His neighbor saw it also and called 9-1-1.

Wilson’s Mills and Selma firefighters quickly had water on the blaze to put the flames out and save the barn from total destruction. The condition of the mower was undetermined.

There were no injuries reported in the fire around 4:00pm Monday.
