CLAYTON – A fire heavily damaged a Johnston County home. The blaze was reported Wednesday night on Coffee Tree Circle in the Forrest at Flowers Plantation off NC Highway 42 East.
North Side Fire units arrived on the scene to find smoke coming from the second floor.
The Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office said the fire stated in the area of HVAC components but the exact cause remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
