The Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office continues to investigate the cause of a fire that destroyed a mobile home.
The blaze was reported just before 4:00am Saturday on Ridge Road in western Johnston County.
A singlewide mobile home, owned and occupied by Kenneth Parker, burned to the ground. No one was at home at the time of the fire, according to Johnston County Fire Investigator Chris Perry.
How the fire began is still under investigation. The West Johnston, 50-210, and Elevation Fire Departments responded to the scene along with 50-210 EMS.
