At least three people were displaced from a rental duplex in Clayton following a fire Tuesday night.
The fire broke out in the kitchen area of the duplex in the 200 block of N. Robertson Street. The duplex sustained substantial damage but the fire was quickly contacted by the Clayton, Archer Lodge and Cleveland Fire Departments who limited the blaze to the rear of the building.
Clayton Police and Johnston County EMS also responded to the scene.
