A mobile home fire Thursday afternoon quickly spread to a nearby wooded area. The blaze was reported in the 400 block of Pecan Lane, Garner, just inside Johnston County.
Garner, Cleveland and Clayton fire crews responded to the scene. Crews worked to contain the mobile home fire and the adjacent brush and woods fire.
No injuries were reported and no one was at home when the fire started.
