Johnston Health in Smithfield welcomed its first baby of the New Year at 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1st.
Alanna Christmas is the infant daughter of Alesha Dixon of Princeton and Dayquan Christmas of Smithfield. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce.
To celebrate her birth, the Johnston Health Volunteers gave the family a gift basket of baby items.
