The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect who robbed a Cleveland area bank Friday afternoon.
Around 12:50 pm, the suspect entered First Citizens Bank at 120 Glen Road, near the I-40 / NC 42 interchange. The robber did not display a weapon but did leave with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was a white male, 6 foot 2, about 40 years of age, with a blond mustache. He was wearing a black and tan camo ball cap, possibly with a “Team Real Tree” logo, grayish color pull-over sweater, dark t-shirt, light blue jeans, and dark tennis shoes.
He fled in a white late 1990’s model Ford F-150 extended cab truck similar to the one in the photo.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office at 919-989-5000.
The same First Citizens Bank branch was robbed in September 2006 and August 2008.
