Four County Chase Ends Near Kenly
KENLY – A four county high speed chase along Interstate 95 ended in Johnston County, shortly after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Law enforcement officers began pursuing the driver of a blue Nissan in Edgecombe County. The pursuit continued southbound on I-95 through Nash and Wilson counties. The chase had just crossed into Johnston County when the suspect traveled off the interstate and overturned near the 108 mile marker in Kenly.
The suspect was transported by Johnston County EMS to WakeMed with unknown injuries.
Multiple law enforcement officers were on the scene.
We are working to gather more information about the suspect and the reason for the pursuit.

Why do the police continue to endanger the public by chasing people? We need to start prosecuting the officers.

The better why is why do people run from the law so much more frequently now? Never seen so much of it in my life. The one that runs from the law is the one causing the danger.
Why do idiots keep running from the police. It’s not the police endangering the public, it’s the scum that the police have to deal with. It’s simple, just pull over and comply.

Actually the Police do get charged in some cases. If they do not follow policies and procedures and cause a wreck they will be charged. Although your statement is completely said out of frustration, I wanted to educate you on how it happens. If you hate the Police so much, I suggest going to the local agency and request a ride-a-long with them during one of their shifts. You may have a different outlook on things…

I was on I95 when this went by.
The public wasnt in danger, and if dude was avoiding ICE he was driving the wrong way. I wish muppets couldnt leave comments.

There was another high speed chase over the weekend on clayton blvd.# 70 hwy towards Smithfield , it was 7 cops cars 1 cop motorcycle 1 police helicopter all going the same way for that high speed chase, but no news reported that tho.
I was injured due to high speed chase 2 blocks from my home in a residential area. Motorcycle hit me going 150 MPH, my car spinning at the intersection, airbags going off, windows blown out. Almost 4 months ago and still in pain.
