A Four Oaks family lost their home in a fire Monday afternoon. Flames were spotting coming from a mobile home in the 4000 block of Devil’s Racetrack Road around 12:30pm.
The mobile home was completely destroyed. Three adults and one child were displaced by the fire, which still remains under investigation.
The Johnston County chapter of the American Red Cross responded to assist the family.
The Strickland’s Crossroads, Bentonville and Four Oaks Fire Departments responded to the fire.
No injuries were reported.
A section of Devil’s Racetrack Road was closed for several hours Monday afternoon until the scene was cleared.
