Four Oaks Man Arrested For Meth Trafficking
FOUR OAKS – A routine call led to the arrest of a Four Oaks man on felony methamphetamine trafficking charges. On May 24th around 6:00pm, Johnston County deputies responded to a trespassing complaint in the 1700 block of Parkertown Road. The property owner reported Ricky Shannon Thompson, age 40, of Austin Drive, was on his property.
Deputies located Thompson who allegedly claimed he had ran out of gas. He also claimed he had permission to be on the property.
Officers said they located in plain sight a bag of hypodermic needles and a cellophane wrapper in the center console. During a closer examination, 30.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine was found.
Thompson was charged with three counts of methamphetamine trafficking. He was held under a $225,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Jail.

I’m just telling it like it is I’m his wife and I love him dearly him anbi don’t see eye to eye on much but I know u have the wrong man because the man the sh*t belonged to showed up at my door about 15 minutes after the deputy carrying my husband to jail pulled out the driveway. He admitted to it being his and then got some girl to pick him up the next morning. Just seems wrong for johnston county to take years and years off the wrong mans life for something he didnt even know was in his car. And his car was somewhere he had permission to be at. The caller who called the police that day wasn’t even the real owner of the peoperty in which my husband was parked it was a person pretending to be mr. Holmes the true owner of the property. My husband tried to tell the officer multiple times that the man I belonged to was out here walking thru the wooded area nearby and that’s exactly where this man came walking up out of about 15mins after they took shannon to jail. I hope y’all are investigating a I hope that the truth is unvailed because I think it is completely wrong when u put a man in prison or jail for someone else’s song doings. They refused to even give him the benefit of the doubt and search anywhere in the wooded area surrounding the home in which this event took place. They just assumed he was lying because of his past record. And that my fellow neighbors is TOTAL BULLSH*T. You should free this innocent man. He may be guilty of alot but this sh*t ain’t it. GET THE REAL guy that is GUILTY and FREE SHANNON this MAN is NOT guilty of the crime in which he is charged with. And lastly they didn’t have no probable cause to search my car anyways on private property. That is also bullsh*t. FREE SHANNON. god I pray that the truth comes out and this man doesn’t spend years of his life behind bars for someone elses drugs. And I don’t even like shannon most of the time but I will stand up and say I don’t think this is right because I truly feel that it just truly isn’t.

ps….Sorry if anyone doesnt like what I have said on here have I ever let that stop me from saying what I feel before. Nope and I won’t let it affect me here today either. Because it’s the truth and I don’t give a sh*t who does or doesnt like me at the end of the day. This ain’t right and I stand up for what I think is right and this is so far fun right it ain’t even funny.

The standard “he’s innocent, it wasn’t his, etc.” Like others below said, both him and his girl above have bad history of being the typical methheads that infect JoCo and other counties.
Samantha, you and your boyfriend have massive issues, and the clear lack of owning up to it proves you have no intentions of bettering yourself. No one owes either of you sympathy until you’re willing to change.
Look up Ricky Thompson under the Joco arrest records which go back to 2011. Form your own opinion.
