Four Oaks Police Conduct Search Warrant

FOUR OAKS – Four Oaks Police arrested two people and cited a third person after executing a search warrant Thursday night at an apartment on Surles Drive.

On Tuesday, police responded to a report of possible stolen items being unloaded from a vehicle into an apartment unit. The vehicle had been reported stolen in Goldsboro. One suspect was apprehended after a foot chase.

The investigation led Four Oaks Police to an apartment Thursday night where a search warrant was executed.

Rio Dakota Green was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Richard Dale Baker was arrested for trespassing. A third person was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released as the scene.

Police Chief Steven Anderson said the investigation remains ongoing.

  2. Chief Steven Anderson is the best thing that has happened to Four Oaks. The Chief and his Officers are starting to make a large dent into crime in this town. Thank all of you for taking the trash to the dump. This town needed cleaning up since the day of Danny Toppings.

  3. Anderson did alot more when he first started like traffic check points on Friday afternoons. He needs to start doing them again. Four Oaks is full of drugs. Bizzell has started do a little more recently too. Sad to say but it is election year
