Four Oaks Woman Held In Benson Break-In

BENSON – A 22 year-old woman is behind bars after she allegedly forcibly entered a Benson-area home and stole items.

Alesha Ann Lee of Smith Street, Four Oaks was arrested Aug. 28 by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. On Aug. 22, authorities allege Lee broke into a home in the 3300 block of Wood’s Crossroads Road and stole a fire safe, two handguns, and jewelry. The items had a combined value of $1,490.

Lee was reportedly linked to the theft after she pawned some of the stolen property at a Dunn pawn shop.

Lee was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny and confined in the Johnston County Detention Center in lieu of a $40,000 secured bond. The break-in remains under investigation.

  1. I sure would like to know if the guns were recovered??? As far as the judge goes, what did she do for you that you held her only under $40,000 bond, judge maybe you did not hear clear so here it is, SHE STOLE TWO GUNS! As far as Alesha Smith, get a job or go rot in jail you worthless trash and that folks is my take on all of this….
