FOUR OAKS – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has charged Jesse James Hall, age 33, of Spring Lake Road, Four Oaks with obtaining property by false pretense.
Hall is accused of illegally gaining access to a Cash App account belonging to a 66 year-old Four Oaks man. After gaining access, Hall reportedly transferred $605 from the victim’s account to his own personal Cash App.
The incident was reported on April 6, 2025. Hall was arrested June 26, 2025 following an investigation.
Hall was released on a $2,500 secured bond pending his next court appearance.
