Fun-Filled Family Event Saturday In Kenly: Summer Splash For Kids!
KENLY – The Kenly Police Department, in collaboration with the Town of Kenly and Kavin Dublin, is thrilled to announce the upcoming “Summer Splash for Kids” community event. Designed to bring joy and excitement to children and families in the Kenly community, the event promises a memorable and fun-filled summer experience for everyone.

The event will take place Saturday, July 29th from 12:00 Noon to 4:00pm, at 410 S. College Park, Kenly.
The Summer Splash for Kids aims to provide a safe and engaging environment where children of all ages can come together, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
Activities at the event will include water-based activities, interactive games, and much more, ensuring everyone stays cool and entertained during the summer heat. Families can look forward to a gigantic waterslide, face painting, balloon art, music, kickball, food trucks, and much more.
“We believe that fostering positive relationships with the children in our community is essential for their growth and well-being,” said Kenly Police Chief James Ayers. “The Summer Splash for Kids is a demonstration of our commitment to their happiness and welfare. We want to create a positive impact on the lives of our young ones and build a stronger, more connected community.”
The event would not be possible without the support of local sponsors including: McDonald’s, Lucas & Davis Law Firm, SBS Contracting Inc., Luwanna Horne, Wheeler Dealer, Small Town Tire & Service, Kenly 95 Truck & Service, Big Boy’s Inc., Kenly Area Chamber of Commerce, Southern Bank, Kenly Medical Association, Cathy Sullivan, and Thrivent.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support of our sponsors. Their dedication to the community is commendable, and we are proud to have them as partners for this event. Join us for a day of laughter, play, and community bonding at the Summer Splash for Kids. Bring your whole family and make the most of this fantastic event,” Chief Ayers said.

Great for community involvement, but so far terrible at dealing with the crime in Kenly. They must find that balance to be successful.
WARNING!!! There is a heat advisory for this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
