SAMPSON COUNTY – Funeral services will take place this weekend for a Sampson County teen killed in a traffic accident.
Esmeralda Julia Salas Arroyo, age 19, was a passenger in a Chevy Tahoe that colliding with a Honda passenger car on November 23 near Salemburg. She was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The funeral will take place at 12:30pm Saturday, Nov. 30 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located at 104 E. John Street, Clinton.
Burial will take place at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Springvale Cemetery, located on W. Elizabeth Street, Clinton.
A GoFundMe account has been established by her cousin to assist with funeral expenses.
