Smithfield-Selma High School senior Jacob Gibbons has signed to play football for North Carolina Wesleyan.
Jacob attended every possible camp run by Chris Rubio, a coach specializing in snapping since middle school. In doing so he has become exceptional at long snapping with a 15 yard snap time of 0.78 seconds.
SSS Head Football Coach Mike Parrish said Jacob, who is 6 foot 2 and 215 pounds, should see the field immediately at Wesleyan. Jacob currently has a GPA of 3.3 and scored a 1070 on his SAT.
