Benson Police are investigating the armed robbery of a business. Around 2:00pm Wednesday a car pulled up to the front door at Parrish Oil Company at 827 South Wall Street.
A passenger got out of the vehicle, walked inside and displayed a handgun and demanded money from a clerk.
After being unsuccessful obtaining any cash the gunman ran back to the awaiting getaway car and fled.
Benson Police Captain Greg Percy said officers are following up on leads in the case. No injuries were reported.
