Harnett County Schools Announces New Administrative Appointments
HARNETT COUNTY – During the July Board of Education meeting, Harnett County Schools announced several key administrative appointments for the 2025-2026 school year.
The Board approved the following central office appointments:



● Mr. Ryan McNeill has been named Director of Grades 9-12
● Dr. Steven Murphy has been named Director of Grades 6-8
● Mr. Ashley Porter has been appointed as Director of Federal Programs
In addition, several school-level leadership transitions were announced:
● Mr. Robert Breyer, current principal of Anderson Creek Primary School, has been appointed principal of Erwin Elementary School.
● Mr. Timothy Justice, currently an assistant principal at Overhills High School, will serve as the interim principal of Anderson Creek Primary School.
● Ms. Britton Sullivan, principal of Highland Middle School, has been named principal of Western Harnett High School.
● Mr. T.J. Carver, assistant principal at Highland Middle School, will serve as interim principal at Highland Middle School.
