Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats said a stabbing Wednesday morning appears to have been the result of a domestic altercation between the victim and suspect.
Around 5:10am, deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a disturbance on Oakdale Drive in the Spring Lake community. Officers found 22 year-old Teron Ruskin of Longleaf Drive, Lillington in the back seat of a car suffering from a knife wound. He was rushed to Cape Fear Valley Hospital by EMS paramedics.
The suspect, 27 year-old Davaughn Hardy of McLean Circle, Lillington was still on the scene. He was taken into custody and formal charges are expected to be filed against him today (Wednesday).
