The Johnston County Heritage Center remains open but is allowing visitors only by appointment until further notice.
“We are using an abundance of caution to keep our staff and visitors safe,” says Center Director Todd Johnson. “Requiring appointments allows us to do that and continue to serve the public.”
Masks are required at all times while inside the building, and gloves are required while handling collection materials.
To request information or to make arrangements to see the Center’s World War II exhibit on the first floor, browse the gift shop, or do research in the Reading Room, one should call 919-934-2836 or send an email to heritagecenter@johnstonnc.com.
