CORINTH HOLDERS – A section of NC Highway 96 North near the Wake County line was closed for several hours overnight following a serious accident.
Just before 10:00pm Saturday, two cars collided at the intersection of NC 96 and Earpsboro Road.

A driver was trapped in their car and a passenger in one vehicle was severely pinned.
Corinth Holders and Zebulon Fire crews worked to free the victims.
A total of three people were transported to Wake Medical Center.
