A traffic stop on Interstate 95 in Wednesday led to the arrest of a South Carolina man on multiple charges. Nash County deputies stopped a black Jeep for a speeding violation.
Inside the vehicle, officers reportedly found a credit card skimmer, 9 fraudulent credit cards, $4,080 in cash along with 5 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, Omari Khiry Trent was arrested on numerous charges including drug possession, identity theft, card theft with a scanning device, and financial card fraud. Additional charges have not been ruled out.
The illegal contraband was seized by officers.
