Interstate 95 Crash Injures Seven People

FOUR OAKS – Seven people, including four children, were injured following a two vehicle accident. The collision was reported around 2:30am Sunday on Interstate 95 near Four Oaks.

A Cadillac Escalade and Nissan SUV collided, causing both vehicles to veer off the interstate to the right and crash into a wooded area.

Two adults and four children, ages 4, 6, 8, and 14 were in the Nissan. The were driving from Maryland on vacation. One person in the Cadillac was injured.

All seven accident victims were taken to WakeMed for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Four Oaks Fire, Johnston County EMS, and the NC State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
