BENSON – Narcotic agents with the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant at a Benson area home. The raid took place around 11:00am today (Wednesday) in the 200 block of Banner Lane, off NC 50 just south of Benson.
Officers said the residence had been the focus of a month-long undercover investigation. Authorities described the home as a “trap house” that was reportedly used to distribute illegal narcotics.
Dennis Keith Lassiter was arrested today. Additional charges are possible.
Approximately 16 grams of crack cocaine, 11.4 grams of cocaine, 3.5 grams of methamphetamine, 48 grams of Fentanyl, and one firearm was seized.
