Two people were lucky to have walked away from a single vehicle accident Monday morning in Johnston County.
A Jeep was traveling in the 18000 block of Highway 210 near Sweetbriar Road, near the Johnston-Harnett County line, when it collided with a deer.
The vehicle ran off the roadway, striking several trees and overturning. The impact broke the front axle on the Jeep and collapsed the roof.
EMS workers checked out both occupants at the scene but no one was transported to the hospital.
The NC Highway Patrol is investigating.
