CLAYTON – Approximately $24,500 in jewelry was stolen from a Johnston County residence. A 39 year-old man said he hosted a party at his home near Clayton, on September 30th.
More people showed up to the party than he invited, including many individuals he did not know.
The following day the victim discovered two rings, a necklace, and bracelet missing. One ring was valued at $20,000.
Authorities are investigating.
If these people showed up and they were not invited and he did not know them, why did he let them stay?
Sniff sniff…. I smell insurance fraud.
