Johnston County Commissioners have proclaimed the week of October 22nd – 26th as Employee Appreciation Week.
Over 1,000 men and women work in 31 different county departments and agencies.
A resolution was approved and signed by Commissioner Chairman Jeff Carver this month thanking employees for the service they provide to citizens.
“Johnston County employees are both skilled and efficient in their jobs, making every effort to expend County tax dollars in the most effective way for the betterment of the County and its citizens,” the proclamation read.
“Johnston County government runs smoothly on a day to day basis primarily because of the dedicated employees in its departments and agencies.”
