Johnston County Man Charged With Conspiracy To Commit Murder

PRINCETON — A Johnston County man is awaiting extradition to Tennessee, where he is accused of conspiring to commit first-degree murder.
Mitchell Loyb Skinner, 67, of Boardwalk Road in Princeton, was arrested Nov. 12 at his home after the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant. Investigators from the Cookeville, Tennessee Police Department assisted as part of an ongoing case in their jurisdiction.
Tennessee authorities charged Skinner with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Details surrounding the alleged conspiracy were not immediately released. Attempts to obtain additional information from Cookeville Police were not successful.
Skinner is being held without bond in the Johnston County Detention Center while he awaits extradition to Tennessee.
