Johnston County Man Scores $150,000 Digital Instant Win
CLAYTON – Sheldon Piggott of Clayton tried his luck on a digital instant game on Friday and won a $150,000 prize.
Piggott won his big prize playing Big Crush Multiplier. In the game, a player can play from 50 cents to $30. Piggott played $30 to win the $150,000 top prize. The odds of that win are 1 in 2 million.

He claimed his prize at lottery headquarters Monday in Raleigh. After required federal and state tax withholdings, Piggott took home $107,259.
Digital instant games are played exclusively online on the lottery’s website or on the NC Lottery Official Mobile App. Thirty-three different games are available to play online.
