Johnston County Public Schools has set the dates needed to make up the two missed school days from Hurricane Dorian.
The following days have been designated as make-up days for the Sept. 5-6, 2019, closings for the Traditional and Restart calendars:
October 21, 2019, has been converted from a required teacher workday to a regular student day. This workday has been moved to June 8, 2020, for staff.
February 17, 2020, has been converted from a required teacher workday to a regular student day. This workday has been moved to June 9, 2020, for staff.
The following days have been designated as make-up days for the Sept. 5-6, 2019, closings for the ECA/CTLA calendar:
October 14, 2019, has been converted from a teacher workday to a regular student day. This workday has been moved to May 25, 2020, for staff.
November 26, 2019, and March 24, 2020, have been converted from early release days to full student days. A teacher workday has been added on May 26, 2020, for staff.
