Juvenile Linked To Armed Robbery Of Friend
FOUR OAKS – A juvenile suspect has been charged with robbing a friend at gunpoint. Around 12:30am, Saturday, July 9th, the 18 year-old victim said a friend came over to visit him at a home on Wood Valley Drive. The victim said they stayed outside to smoke.
About an hour later, the suspect asked to go inside to use the bathroom. When he emerged from the inside the home, the suspect reportedly produced a black pistol and at gunpoint robbed the teenage victim of his 2014 Nissan passenger car. The juvenile suspect fled with the stolen Nissan.
Johnston County deputies said the robbery was captured on a ring doorbell camera at the address.
Hours later, the stolen vehicle was recovered in Elizabethtown in Bladen County.
The juvenile is facing charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and larceny of a motor vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Getting pretty tired of reading stories like these. Let’s start getting really tuff on these criminals and end this. For armed robbery, in a case such as this, first time he gets 10 years, 2nd time he gets 20 years in prison.. And prison should mean a chain gang working out in the heat and humidity 8 hours a day. Bread, water and if he behaves he gets a piece of partially rotted fruit on Sundays. I bet they would think long and hard before committing another crime making all law abiding citizens life better.
Oh yeah, and I believe in second chances, but I also believe in 3 strikes your out. Criminal gets life in prison doing hard backbreaking labor with no chance of parole.
