Johnston County firefighters extinguished a small woods fire Tuesday evening on Cameron Drive, off Page Road, near the Wake County line.
Officials said the fire was intentionally set and burned approximately 60 ft by 120 ft before it was extinguished by fire personnel.
Johnston County deputies said they determined several juveniles started the fire. The landowner declined to press charges. The parents told authorities they would be disciplining their children over the incident.
No injuries were reported.
Since we can’t name the juveniles because it might hurt their feelings, how snot we name the parents?
Every boy loves playing with fire. Keep it under control next time boys!
What! Tommy and that Freemen girl only got a $12,000.00 and a $9,000.00 bond(s) respectfully for allegedly stealing $6000.00 worth of groceries from Food Lion(s). And I recently got a $20,000.00 bond for being set up and framed for selling of a junked car? Oh, the Johnston County Magistrate ripped my mom off at the Johnston County Detention Center! I’m a put the word out on this kind of corruption! We need some accountability and transparency in Johnston County.
