KENLY – A home was heavily damaged by flames, Friday morning. The Johnston County 911 Center received a call at 8:14am reporting a fire at 2003 Old Route 22 Road.
The Kenly, Micro, Bethany, and Antioch Fire Departments extenguished the blaze.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and Johnston County Fire Marshal’s Office responded to investigate. Officials said the cause has not been determined but it began in the basement area.
Officials said no one was living at the address and there was no power to the home.
