Kenly Police Partner With Jason Knapp To Help Cancer Patients At Christmas

KENLY – The Kenly Police Department partnered with Jason Knapp, better known as The Kitchen Goat, in a heartfelt mission to support cancer patients during their most challenging times. Jason Knapp, the founder of the non-profit organization Kitchen Goat Feeds Corporation, has dedicated his life to raising funds to provide gift cards to cancer patients, ensuring they have access to essential groceries while battling this deadly disease.

On December 18, Jason brought hope and smiles to Kenly, personally meeting with cancer patients to share his generosity and compassion. His journey to start this inspirational non-profit began with a simple yet life-changing moment. While visiting a hospital, Jason overheard a woman undergoing cancer treatment express her distress over having to choose between paying her medical bills or buying food. Moved by her dilemma, Jason took immediate action, establishing Kitchen Goat Feeds Corporation to help others facing similar struggles.

Jason’s decision to take action and form this non-profit organization speaks volumes about his compassion and love for those in need, said Chief Ayers of the Kenly Police Department. “We need more people like Jason. Let his actions speak for him…he is making a real difference in the lives of those who are facing one of life’s toughest battles.”

Jason’s efforts extend across several counties in Eastern North Carolina, bringing relief and hope to countless individuals. Together with the Kenly Police Department, Jason recognizes the incredible bravery of cancer patients. These individuals face unimaginable challenges, yet they persevere with unwavering strength and determination.

“We view these cancer warriors as an inspiration,” said Chief Ayers. “Their courage gives us hope, and we are grateful to play a part in their fight by supporting Jason’s incredible mission.”

Chief Ayers says the Kenly Police Department is committed to standing alongside Jason as he continues to bring hope and kindness to those who need it most.
