The State Highway Patrol has released the name of a driver killed Tuesday night in a single car crash in Johnston County. Troopers said the accident occurred at 8:00pm on Old Drug Store Road near Cornwallis Road, approximately 9 miles from Clayton.

Priscilla Brooks Barbour, 20, of Kenly was traveling southbound on Old Drug Store Road in her 2006 Chevrolet passenger car when she crossed the centerline in a curve, ran off the roadway to the left and overturned into a tree.
Barbour died at the scene as a result of her injuries. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Troopers said speed was a contributing factor.
