SELMA – Johnston County Public School (JCPS) officials confirmed a small knife was found on the campus of Selma Elementary School, on Tuesday.
Richard Carr, Communication and Marketing Coordinator for JCPS stated, ” A staff member saw the item and immediately informed administration, who then notified our school resource officer. Both school administration and local law enforcement responded quickly and investigated thoroughly. Please note that all students and staff were safe throughout the course of the day.”
Selma Police declined to comment about the incident.
