KS Bank collected over 4,000 food items and over $1,800 in donations last week for local food banks.
The donations will help several local programs: Kenly Area Ministries in Kenly, Branch Chapel Church for Selma Elementary School Backpack Buddies, Open Door Community Outreach Center in Wilson, West Clayton Church of God Food Closet, WAGES Meals on Wheels Program in Goldsboro, Temple Baptist Church Food Bank in Smithfield/Selma, Community of Hope Ministries Food Bank in Garner, Covenant Presbyterian Church Food Bank in Wendell, Four Oaks United Methodist Church Backpack Buddies Program in Four Oaks, and the Hinnant Outreach Center Food Bank in Micro.
