KS Bank has made a commitment of $50,000 to My Kid’s Club (MKC) in response to its Capital Campaign to build a new Community Clubhouse at 609 N. Pollock Road in Selma.
When complete, the new, brightly lit, and creatively-spaced 5,000-square foot building will allow MKC to expand its reach to more students and to the community as a whole.
“We are beyond grateful,” said Gammage, who accepted the donation on behalf of the Club. “This donation will enable us to create a ‘flagship’ community building in Selma and increase our outreach throughout Johnston County. We want to thank KS Bank for this generous support of MKC.”
MKC is a non-profit organization that provides after school programs, summer camps, and a new virtual learning support program in response to Covid-19, offering resources and education that strengthens families and promotes the optimal development of children to ensure their success.
KS Bank is a full-service community bank serving NC consumers and businesses through nine retail locations in Johnston, Wake, Wilson, and Wayne counties. KS Bank is headquartered in Smithfield.
