KS Bank Hires New Commercial Relationship Manager

SMITHFIELD – KS Bank has announced that Walt Parker has been hired as a Commercial Relationship Manager in their Garner office. In this role, Parker will manage overall banking functions in the branch as well as be responsible for deposit growth and loan production. Parker will be responsible for developing new business and making and servicing loan requests.

He is an experienced commercial banker with strong ties to the Wake County community – as a matter of fact, he worked with KS Bank as a branch manager at the start of his career. Parker has almost 30 years of experience in the finance industry. The majority of his career has been spent working with businesses and helping them find the right financial products for their needs. He is also experienced in branch management and is dedicated to being an active member of the communities he serves.

Parker said, “Coming back to KS Bank is like coming home. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to meet our customers and develop strong relationships in the Garner community.”

He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Pfeiffer University and has
graduated from several banking programs including the NC School of Banking and Robert Morris and Associates Commercial Lending School.
