A large crowd turned out Saturday for the first Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet in Downtown Four Oaks.
An estimated 2000 people attended to view and participate in the car show, shop the swap meet, and stroll Downtown Four Oaks. Eighty vehicles entered for judging, representing 16 local and regional car clubs, and many trophies and cash prizes were awarded.
The event was sponsored by the Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce
“This was an exciting day for Four Oaks. The weather was perfect and everyone enjoys seeing the antique cars back on Main Street,” said Amber England, Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce Director. “We are already getting requests to have this event again next year. The large crowds mean a great day for our community and a great day for our local economy. We thank everyone who came and visited our local businesses and restaurants and we look forward to hosting you again in Four Oaks soon.”
